Growing our growing minds

Posted by: JLS

Johnson's Landscaping Service has taken this off-season as an opportunity to train our excellent crews, management, and designers.

Our maintenance and stone masonry crew leaders were put through rigorous training to enhance their knowledge and perfect their skills.  The attendees of this seminar are excited to put their newly acquired skills to work in the field.

Because of the increasing popularity of paver walkways and patios, our stone mason crew leaders participated in an installation certification program. This winter the crew leaders became certified interlocking concrete paver installers (ICPI). This certification ensures that the pavers are installed correctly and adhere to the manufactures' guidelines.

Several members of our skilled design team attended the a winter landscape workshop. The designers gained knowledge in the areas of biodiversity in our landscapes, use of native species, and enhancement of our outdoor lifestyles.  These issues are integral in developing sustainable landscapes.

Finally, Johnson's Landscaping Service's leadership team  took an opportunity to enhance their management techniques. Our management is dedicated to improving our communication with our customers and staff. As we strive to provide the best service possible to our customers, we will continue to train and educate our staff on the latest techniques and products available.

I love the look of pavers leading to or through a garden. Always a very classy (yet still trendy) look to add! Great idea to get everyone ready. :)

Landscaping is a combination of art and science. Your landscape design should ideally complement the colors and materials making up the structure of your property. Gardening is the most important facet of landscaping for plants and flowers enhance the look of one’s place.
